How to Choose a Pepper Spray - Spray Patterns

When choosing a pepper spray, consider the spray pattern – stream, gel, cone spray, or fogger. If you need it for everyday use, a pepper spray or pepper gel will suit you. Both pepper sprays and pepper gels are high-strength formulas and are naturally pigmented red, so you can see where you’ve sprayed the product. If you’re a runner or in windy conditions regularly, consider a pepper gel. This formula works just like a traditional pepper spray, but it reduces wind blowback if you use it outside and won’t get into your AC systems indoors.
